Storytime
Tonight after a long day of it and still in pain from the torture massage yesterday, I curled up on my bed with Wes to cuddle him to sleep and called the little girls in to keep me company. Ellie and Sadie snuggled up in a little clump with me and Sadie started to tell me a story to be friendly. There was a "Sadie Bird" in the story and a "Darren Pig" and in the end every character died. Then Ellie said it was her turn. Her version of "Little Red Riding Hood" went on forever and was punctuated with a lot of "SO!'s" It was very good though and professional. She even started with "Once upon a time..." and ended with "...they lived happily ever after!" Sadie must have been listening carefully and taking notes because she then announced she would be telling yet another story. "It's my turn now!" As she started i noticed that she had adopted the wording from Ellie's professional story. Every action was now punctuated with the word "happily" "Happily, the farmer took his gun. Happily, he shot the Darren pig. Happily, the pig died." She satisfactorily smacked her lips "SO! ....the end!!!"
