Darren (aka "Robin Hood") and Carrie (aka "Much") bought these bamboo poles at the garden center. Great fun!
Grannie helped the girls make peanut brittle which was a huge hit!
The girls give Granny a complete makeover...makup and hair....and Granny reciprocates by treating them all to eyebrows and moustaches. After it was over, Robin commented, "You actually look pretty good Grannie!"

There is nothing like a good rendition of "Frances" ;) My mom used to always sign these Russell Hoban books out of the library when we were kids and sing the singing parts crazily. I bought this set as a teenager and collect them at second hand book stores wherever we go. I love them with a deep sentimental love. ;)--j
